There is a limited number of rooms available
for the duration of the Chess Championships at Victoria Hall. This is
accommodation in the centre of Sheffield, which is usually let to students.
During the summer vacation, it is available for short-term let to visitors
to Sheffield.

Street, Sheffield S1 4GX. It is less than 5 minutes walk from a direct tram
route to Ponds Forge (five minutes journey) or a 20 minute stroll through
the city centre. (Daily tram tickets (unlimited travel during the day of
purchase) are available at a cost of £3.50, with a ticket offering unlimited
travel for up to 7 days is available for £12 (both available on board the
tram). Tram services run from 06:00hrs to 24:00hrs daily, at 10 minute
intervals).
Accommodation at Victoria Hall is offered in
single en-suite bedrooms of 4 bedrooms per flat. Accommodation is available
with bedding (or you can choose to bring your own). Each flat also has a
shared lounge and fully equipped kitchen with fridge, crockery, cutlery and
kitchen utensils. On-site laundry facilities are also included. Housekeeping
services can be sourced direct from Victoria Hall. There are cafes and
restaurants within close proximity of the accommodation.

the newly built facilities at the Endcliffe Village site of the University
of Sheffield has rooms available. Built in a leafy suburb, easily accessible
to the city centre, en-suite single bedrooms are built in clusters of up to
eight rooms with shared lounge facilities. Full catering services are
available on site so breakfast is included in the price. Additional services
include a comfortable lounge bar and coffee bar facilities.
